Inmarsat Mini_M provides low cost voice fax and data service via the Inmarsat satellites on most of the worlds land masses. There are portable, mobile and marine versions.

Marlec sell the Thrane and Thrane Mini-M products and can provide connection for all brands of Mini-M. These systems are very portable and robust and can be used for voice, fax and data calls. When used in conjunction with compression software the effective data rate approaches 10kb/s. The ability to connect a fax machine is seen as a great advantage by many users.
